Summer Reading 2009-2010
There is required Summer Reading for AP World this year. Students were invited to attend seven explanatory sessions before school ended. We had over 100 students attend those meetings but there may be some new students to the course over the summer.
We are distributing the Summer Reading packet (at no cost to them) along with another handout explaining the assignment they must complete and turn in to their teacher. So each student needs to pick up TWO handouts.
Students must pick up EACH of the following:
- World Civilizations: The Global Experience Summer Reading
- Welcome to AP World History 2009 -10 Required Summer Reading Assignment which clearly explains what students must complete in writing over the summer.
This assignment will be collected the first day of the fall semester for academic evaluation.
There are copies available in the Guidance Office and in the Social Studies Office C246 .
