I grew up in Washington, D.C. and Bethesda, Maryland. I went to the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. Before I chose teaching as my career, I considered Music Therapy and Music/Piano Performance. When I was a little girl, I loved to play with Barbie dolls. Later, Monopoly was my favorite game. My most memorable book character is Madeleine. My favorite aspect of teaching is watching children.

I grew up in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maryland. I went to Shippensburg University and West Chester University. My favorite activity as a child was playing my first instrument, the trumpet. I would practice for long periods of time each day. My most memorable book character is Jack Ryan. My favorite aspect of teaching is meeting students and watching them grow into musicians.
