I grew up in Hicksville, New York. I came to Maryland when I decided to attend Towson University. Before I chose teaching as a career, I almost chose to be an Interior Designer! When I was a little girl, I loved to play Twister. My most memorable book character is Harry Potter! My favorite aspect of teaching is working with the students and helping them grow and learn new art techniques.
