The Rise Against Hunger event was a very fun and active 1.5
hour meal packaging event. Volunteers were placed at 3 different stations.
At one, they participated in creating the shelf-stable meals and then they sent them to the second station, where volunteers made sure each meal
weighed the correct amount and then sealed each package. After that station, they
went to the final station where volunteers counted out a specific
amount to be crated and sealed. It was very fast-paced, and every time 1,000
meals were done, a volunteer rang the giant gong.
