Media Center Volunteers Needed
"Read, Read, Read!" are words to live by at Westbrook. Help our Media Center support this important mantra by donating some of your time to the Media Center. Shelving books, sorting returns and generally lending a hand is greatly appreciated! Time slots available during every school day. How easy is that? Contact Mrs. Van O in the Media Center to learn how you can help.
MCPS Subscription Search Engines
MCPS enjoys subscriptions to the most interesting and relevant search engines available to students. Take a look at what is at your fingertips!
Birthday Book Club
How can your child share a favorite book with Westbrook friends and have his or her name forever associated with literature? It's easy: donate a book to the Westbrook Media Center! The Media Center has a special "Birthday Book Club" book plate to commemorate the occasion. You may select a book each year or for any special occasion! In addition, it is a profound way to mark your child's progress in reading with each year at Westbrook. Other honorees would be great, too. Parent Joanna Cady can design a book plate to honor anyone such as a teacher, grandparent, secretary or friend. Please contact Mrs. Van O in the Media Center for details about choosing a book to donate.
