Science Share

Science Share

Wayside's Science Share will be held February 9th - 12th.

Kindergarten, First and Second grade students will display their Science Share projects on February 9th and 10th. Parents are invited to view the projects on February 10th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students will display their Science Share projects on Feburary 11th and 12th. Parents are invited to view the projects on February 11th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Maryland Science Center

5th Grade Field Trip

The fifth grade classes visited the Maryland Science Center in Baltimore on Friday, January 29th.

We would like to thank our parent chaperones for their assistance with the field trip. We would also like to thank Miss Carlette Jameson, our science teacher, for organizing the field trip.

David Steckel

Washington Capitals' Player Visits Wayside

David Steckel, Washington Capitals center, visited Wayside on Thursday, Jan. 28th. His visit was earned by Mrs. Monica's second grade math class. Her class had entered a Washington Capitals contest, and they were the winning class!

Mr. Steckel was accompanied by Slapshot, the Washington Capitals' mascot.
