A lot has been happening in the art room!

Kindergarten and first grade students have been creating torn paper fall collages. In conjunction with the second grade unit of butterflies, symmetrical butterflies have been created using the monoprint method. Second graders published their very own autobiographies with their self portrait as their cover art. Third graders have been transformed into architects from the late 1800s with their architectural drawings of Victorian houses. Fourth grade artists made foil repousse books about the famous artist, Pablo Picasso. Fifth graders have been working exceptionally hard on their Henri Rousseau jungle paintings that are being proudly displayed throughout Wayside.
