POST PROM FACTS

WHAT is Post Prom:

An alcohol and drug free evening filled with fun and memorable activities for our students. On average, 450 students participate in this event.

WHY do we have Post Prom:

During prom season in Montgomery County, there are 11,000 students attending such events. Even the most responsible students can find themselves doing the wrong thing due to peer pressure. Such decisions can lead to tragic consequences. Sadly, no matter how hard safety is promoted each year and past tragedies are remembered and memorialized, our children still remain at risk. It takes many volunteers and substantial finances to make this evening a huge success.

Saturday, May 1, 2009 at 11:45 p.m. – Sunday, May 2, 2009 at 5:00 a.m.
