The Watkins Mill Art Department offers a wide variety of classes including fundamentals of art, studio art, drawing and design, ceramics I, II, III and AP 3-D studio, photography I, II, III and AP 2-D studio, IB art and finally AP drawing. Students in Watkins Mill are required to take one credit in the arts to graduate. Along with in-school classes, WMHS also has a National Art Honor Society and photography club which holds meetings after school.
