GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

22 CREDITS (MINIMUM) REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION

1 semester = 0.5 credit for a one-period course

English 4 credits

Mathematics, including Algebra & Geometry 4 credits

Social Studies core courses* 3 credits

Science, including Biology & a Physical Science 3 credits

Physical Education 1 credit

Fine Arts 1 credit

Technology Education 1 credit

Health ½ credit

 

*Social Studies core: US History, National, State & Local Government,and Modern World History.

In addition to these course requirements, students must participate in a Program Completer in either Advanced Technology (2 credits), Foreign Language (2 credits), or Career Education (3-9 credits). Students must also serve a minimum of 75 hours of approved volunteer community service, and pass the High School Assessment examinations.
