The 2008-09 Academy of Engineering Application is available for download here. This application must be completed by %INSERT DATE HERE%.
To apply for the Academy of Engineering, a student must do the following:
- Complete all pages of this application
- Obtain parent/guardian signature
- Give teacher recommendation forms to a math, science, and/or technology education teacher (two recommendations are required)
- Return this application to your intructor
Watkins Mill Academy of Engineering
The Watkins Mill Academy of Engineering represents a course sequence that addresses the educational needs of students planning on a post high school educational program in a two or four year college, leading to a career in engineering or engineering technology. The program offers students an opportunity to explore potential occupational paths, and if appropriate, to prepare for the college experience. Students have the potential to earn up to 15 college credits. Students who wish to enroll in the Academy of Engineering must complete the application process available from their guidance counselor or from this website.
