Washington Grove’s students again showed academic progress
in reading and math as measured by the Maryland School Assessment (MSA). 
90.1% of the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders scored proficient or advanced on the
reading part of the MSA. 
In math, 91.5% of those students scored proficient and advanced. 
This total in math surpassed the Maryland average for all students, 84.9%,
and the MCPS average of 87.9%. 
These results confirm Washington Grove Elementary’s belief that all students can and will be successful.
