Student Activity: Students will write about what the first Thanksgiving was like through the eyes of a Pilgrim or Wampanoag child using five (1st and 2nd grade) or ten (3rd, 4th, 5th grade) true facts from the above data resources. Students will use a graphic organizer (1-2) (3-5) to take notes. Students will identify the source of information for each fact on their graphic organizer. Students will use more than one site in their research. They will choose appropriate first names for the writer. A writing rubric will be used.
