Our Vision: Travilah Elementary School students, staff, parents, and community are committed to creating an educational setting that results in high academic achievement and continuous growth as defined in our Baldrige Guided School Improvement Plan.
Our Mission:
We will work to realize our vision through an emphasis on mutual respect, open communication and high expectations. The Travilah Expectations will be modeled and honored by students, staff, and the school community.

Description of School
Travilah Elementary was built in 1960 and modernized in 1992. An addition was completed in August 2008, adding six classrooms and creating a courtyard. Originally built in a rural area, Travilah is now part of a suburban
neighborhood. There are twenty classrooms and four kindergarten rooms to house 450 students in grades K-5. Travilah has a gym and computer lab. The multi-purpose room serves as cafeteria and auditorium. The school and PTA have developed an outstanding partnership that effectively connects home and school. Our parent volunteers support the instructional program and sponsor many enrichment programs. Bus transportation is provided to all students since there are no sidewalks approaching the school. Please contact the school office for registration information. Incoming kindergarten students must be five by September 1st.
