The science department of the Takoma Park Middle School will hold it's
annual Science Expo on March 1, 2006. This is a annual tradition at Takoma
park where every students does a long term
science project and displays a board at the Expo. On our science expo day all of the backboards are placed
around the room for parents, students, family, and friends to come and visit.
Also, special speakers come in to talk about either their job, or something
that they know relating to science. The seminars are 30 minutes in
length, and a great thing to visit so you can learn a lot and have some fun!
Students who are interested in the County Science Fair may enter in it if they
please. If you are interested in the County Science Fair, then talk to
your science teacher to receive the forms.
Many students from Takoma Park Middle School also earned awards at the county
science fair in 2006.
