Language Arts

Language arts includes students' Reading and English classes. All sixth grade students take one period of each class, while seventh and eighth grade students are required only to take one period of English.

  • Summer Reading Assignment

    Each summer, students who will attend Takoma Park Middle School in the coming fall are required to complete summer readings. This document explains the assignment and lists possible books to chose. (2008 Summer Assignment)

  • Manuscript Form

    This is the MCPS Manuscript Form for work to be turned in to secondary schools. This form will be valid unless otherwise directed by a teacher.
