Black Spider Monkey

spider monkeys are the acrobats of the Amazon canopy. Their long legs and tail,
which is between sixty to ninety centimeters on an adult, enable them to swing
from branch to branch effortlessly. The body of an average adult black spider
monkey is forty to sixty centimeters. The average weight is between six and ten
kilograms. They sleep in groups of twenty to thirty, and spend their days in
groups numbering around five. These primates feed mostly on food, as well as
certain insects. They are fierce defendants of their territory as well as
themselves. Black spider monkeys are truly incredible creatures.
