This is my fourteenth year teaching in Montgomery County and my eleventh year teaching at Stonegate Elementary School. I have taught both fifth grade and fourth grade. Currently, I teach fourth grade and I love it!

 

I attended Springbrook High School, University of Maryland at College Park for my undergraduate degree, and Johns Hopkins for my master's degree. One of my favorite hobbies is traveling and I have traveled to many cities throughout the U.S. I also received the Fulbright-Hays Award which allowed me to travel abroad to Thailand and Vietnam during the summer of 2007! It was an amazing cultural and learning experience! In addition, I have traveled abroad to Europe and the Middle East. I especially enjoyed my travels to the Middle East where I had the opportunity to explore my cultural heritage in Ramallah, Palestine. My ultimate favorite pastime is spending time with family and friends, especially my daughter Gianna. She is a wonderful blessing to both me and my husband. I treasure my time with my beautiful family.
