This is my 17th year working in Montgomery County as a reading specialist. I also have experience teaching kindergarten and grade 5. I really enjoy being the instructor of the highly gifted center reading program here at Stonegate. It's great to be able to give students advanced opportunities if they are academically ready. I am originally from the Rochester, New York area where I attended college. After receiving my teacher's certification, I moved to Virginia where I attended graduate school at George Mason University. I have my masters in curriculum and instruction/reading. I currently live in Howard County, Maryland where I enjoy spending time with my two children, Bailey and Joey, and my husband, Tim.
