The Silver Spring International Middle School inspires and empowers internationally minded life-long learners, by acknowledging their common humanity, as they become leaders in the global society.
Mission
The Silver Spring International Middle School provides rigorous instruction, fosters a collaborative teaching and learning environment and creates a safe, nurturing school climate that celebrates cultural diversity We will utilize systematic processes to ensure individual student progress, aligned with our vision, mission, and school goals, towards the attainment of academic excellence through:
- Regularly scheduled monitoring of student achievement through department, team, Instructional Leadership Team (ILT), Achievement Steering Committee (ASC), and PTSA meetings, engaging multiple stakeholders in the process of improvement
- Continuous communication among staff, students, and parents, through newsletters, web site, weekly staff bulletins, email, EdLine, ConnectEd, and stakeholder meetings. evening meetings, flyers.
