Objective: To create two (2) epitaphs that demonstrate a strong personal relationship between the characters mentioned and which each contain some of the poetic terms studied in this unit. Each epitaph must contain:
alliteration or assonance
simile or metaphor
rhyme or repetition
irony or allusion
evidence of a strong personal relationship
Use this plan sheet to help fully create a character for who you will write an epitaph. It is quite likely that all of this information will not be used in the epitaph itself. The plan is a guide to have you think about the many many detail of this imaginary person that may have had an impact on his or her life You should complete a plan for each person.. Follow the directions from your teacher as to printing these plans or saving them to your disk
