School Information

The school hours are: 7:25am - 2:10pm. If you haven't seen the Springbrook School Calendar, ask your child for it, it has a lot of great information in it. Students follow an exam schedule during exam week in January and June. Regular classes will not be in session this week except for the special education program students.

Attendance

Top

To support schools in closely monitoring student absences and communicating this information with parents, a new software program is being implemented[...]This new program is an enhanced attendance module that is directly integrated into each teacher's electronic grade book (Pinnacle). As a result, this program will automatically generate a warning letter to parents when a student has three unlawful absences. In addition, a letter or e-mail notifcation also will be generated to inform parents when their student is at risk of failing a class unless an appeal or an attendance intervention plan is completed once a student has accumulated five unlawful absences.[...]Please ensure that your student's school has your current home and/or e-mail addresses so you can receive timely communications. Parents are also encouraged to check their child's attendance at any time through Ed-line.

Edline

Use Edline to keep track of your student's grades at: www.edline.net .We have very caring teachers at Springbrook High School; they love for you to keep in touch with them through email and the website.

Clubs/Sport

Research shows that students who are involved in clubs, sports and musical groups are more successful than students who are not involved. (Stay tuned for the next Springbrook 101 that will give you more information on this topic) Springbrook has a Sports Academy on Tuesday- Thursday starting September 21. Students can stop by and sign up.

Come out and support our students in athletics, band performances, etc - whenever they perform. It is important that we support our students when they are doing something positive, plus it is a lot of fun for adults.

Heritage Show

Don't miss the Heritage Show in March. It is one of the best showcases of our students and their amazing talents.
