AP Multimedia Archive- AP photos with caption text from 1840s to present, graphics, charts, tables, maps and timelines.
Ditto.com- Choose photographs from a directory of subjects.
DK Clip Art- This mini site will help support class and homework activities with downloads of DK's famous photographs that can be included in your school projects.
Google Image Search- At school you may need to hold down the Ctrl key to open this site, or click on images from the Google search screen.
Grove Art- Use this database in your social studies classes as well as art classes. It includes 2 art encyclopedias with more than 45,000 articles, 3,000 thumbnail art images and line drawings as well as links to 40,000 art images on museum quality web sites.
Microsoft Gallery- Microsoft provides clipart for use with its products.
New York Times Images- The images that were "fit to print" from the New York Times in a searchable database.
NYPL Digital Library- The New York Public Library has a free, searchable database of 275,000 photographs and manuscripts from its collection.
