IB Requirements
The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program at Springbrook High School is a small community of highly motivated learners. Students in this program pursue a rigorous and comprehensive 2-year curriculum. Diploma candidates must study one subject in each of the six groups (group 6, in addition to the arts, may include another group 4 subject (science), group 3 Information Technology in a Global Society, or an additional group 2 language).
They must also complete 150 Creative, Action and Service (CAS) hours, the 4000 word extended essay, two semesters of the Theory of Knowledge (ToK) course and the Extended Essay (EE)/Guided Research course. Certificate students must meet the individual requirements for their specific course or courses, but do not take ToK, EE, complete the EE or CAS hours
