Springbrook IB Program

Springbrook High School participates in the diploma program of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) based in Cardiff, Wales. Offering an internationally recognized course of study and diploma, the IBO, a non-profit foundation, was established in1968 to serve students who moved to different countries during the course of their education.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Program is unique in that it provides a liberal arts, interdisciplinary education leading to a diploma or certificate. Teachers plan and provide interdisciplinary instruction and assessments focusing on common topics, themes and materials within subject areas.

The IB curriculum is currently offered in 125 different countries at the primary, middle, and secondary levels. The diploma is recognized and held in high regard by over a thousand universities worldwide.
