Sligo school dress code
Clothing depicting drugs, alcohol, or tobacco, or containing offensive or sexually suggestive material may not be worn in school. Items associated with gangs also may not be worn.
Clothing considered disruptive to the educational process may not be worn in school. Judgment will be made by the administration about clothing considered disruptive to the educational process.
- All shirts should be long enough to tuck into the wearer's waisband. They do not have to be tuckedin, but that is how long they need to be.
- Outfits should never display underwear.
- Tops may not expose a bare midriff
- Tops must have an appropriate coverage of eleavage: no halter tops, not sheer tops, not "Tarzan" tops, not tube tops, or no revealing slits.
- Shorts, skirts and dresses should not be too short or excessively revealing; shourts must have at least a four inch inseam, and skirts should hang no shorter than mid-thigh.
- No pajamas or slippers may be worn in school.
- No head apparel (including gats, scarves and bandanas, skull caps) will be worn in the school except for religious reasons.
