Global Studies Program - Exchange Programs

Features of the Global Studies Program:

  • Enhances content by weaving GSP themes throughout the curricula.
  • Supports school-sponsored clubs tied to the GSP mission, such as Model UN and International Club.
  • Sponsors international exchange trips with sister schools in Belgium, France, Germany, Mexico, and Spain.
  • Sponsors speakers related to a content area and the GSP mission

Exchange Programs:

Sherwood students have the opportunity to host students from other countries as well as stay with families in other countries. Students visit schools, learn about the cultures of different countries, and visit memorable places through the exchange program. Students wrote reflections on exchange trips to the following countries:
