Washington Post All-Met 

Emily Kenul and Abby Isaacs have been nominated for the Washington Post All-Met for Field Hockey.  Announcement will be made in early December.

 

Fernando Smith-RB, Jake Ryder-K, and Richie DiPietro-DB have been selected to the All-Met All-County Montgomery County Football 1st team.  In addition Fitz Mofor and Josh Yagel were selected for 2nd team honors.

KC Emerson has been named U.S. Lacrosse first team All-American from the Potomac Region.   KC becomes the first player from our program named first team All-American and joins Kelly Hughes and Cristin Begley in achieving All-American status.  KC was also named Honorable Mention All-Met by the Washington Post.

Will Bouey (Jr., Pitcher): First Team--Threw nine no-hit innings in state playoffs; went 7-1, 1.52 ERA in 2010.

Billy Goodman (Coach, 11th year):  Coach of the Year--Guided Warriors (18-3) to second 4A state crown in three years with mix of steady defense, stingy pitching, just enough clutch hitting.

Kat Correa (Sr., 2B):  First Team--County's most improved hitter was stalwart infielder for regional champ.

Kristin Holonich (Soph., Catcher): First Team--Threw out 5 of 7 who dared attempt to steal second base.  Drove in 23.

Amy Laughner (Jr., OF): First Team--No gaps in outfield with her speed, led team with .408 avg.

Amelia Niak (Fr., OF): Second Team--Lefty bat great in leadoff spot.

Stephanie Rawlings (Sr., Pitcher): Second Team--Undefeated regular season.

Matt Lee (Sr., 100 backstroke): First Team--Third of Warriors' three musketeers won at counties.

Josh Lowy (Sr., 152 lbs., 37-1): First Team--Capped stellar career with county, regional titles, third place at states.

regional title unit.

including 9 sacks.

Phil Durity (Sr., Linebacker): First Team--Led county's top defense in tackling each of last
two years; 115 this fall.

to three straight Maryland 4A semifinals--the first Montgomery County
team to accomplish that since 1994--and a 53-7 record in that span.
Batted .574 with 27 runs scored. Will play for Catholic University.

county's leading goal-scorers (44), who helped lead Warriors to 4A/3A West runner-up finish.

tier of goalkeepers. Completed season with save percentage of 63, 7.5 goals-against average.

average, up middle with .927 fielding percentage.

capped outstanding two-year career with records, titles in cross country, track.

Katherine Salke (Sr., 100 hurdles): First Team--County, regional champion placed
fifth at 4A state meet despite a broken foot. Emerged as county's
fastest late in career with 14.60 at regionals.

Matt Florian (Sr., Outside Hitter): First Team--Integral cog on MVP Volleyball team,
top net player on undefeated champions.
