Instrumental Music
All children in grades four and five are eligible for this program. The instrumental music teacher demonstrates the band and orchestra instruments to interested fourth and fifth graders at the beginning of the school year. This demonstration is followed by a meeting with the parents of interested children, and then the children are screened. Only band and orchestra instruments are taught, and children must furnish their own instruments. The instrumental music teacher is at school on Wednesday.
