Meet the Media Center Staff
Ms. Reber - I am the media specialist at Sequoyah and this will be my 17th year in the media center. I am a product of Montgomery County Public Schools and graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I received a master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland. I have three wonderful sons and one fantastic daughter-in-law, who just happens to be a 3rd/4th grade teacher at Sequoyah! During my free time I love to travel, go to the beach and of course read! My favorite foods are pizza, cheese and chocolate!
Mrs. Newcomb- I am the Media Assistant at Sequoyah and this will be my 11th year at Sequoyah. I graduated from the University of Maine with an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. I have two beautiful daughters and one great son-in-law, who has run the Boston Marathon. In my free time I love to ride our motorcycle, go to wineries, cook and read. My favorite foods are Greek, Italian and my mom’s homemade peanut butter fudge.
