ESOL SUMMER READING ASSIGNMENT

All students at Seneca Valley are required to read at least one book over the summer. When students return to school, they will complete a paragraph about the book read over the summer. Students will answer the appropriate question below:

For fiction: Compare and contrast the events, setting, or characters in the book with your personal experience or the experience of someone you know.

For non-fiction: Identify information in the text that is new to you or has changed your thinking in some way.

ESOL students entering Algebra in the Fall also have a summer packet to complete.
