Senior

Ethics

Day

Senior Ethics Day is a special event for seniors in which they learn about ethical decision-making in real life situations.  The seniors are randomly divided into groups that rotate through interactive presentations.

Parent and community volunteers join Seneca Valley staff to serve as facilitators. Each facilitator works with a group of ten students and rotates through the breakout sessions. After each presentation, the student groups share individual perspectives on how to resolve the ethical situation presented, focusing on the impact and consequences of each possible resolution. This is a wonderful opportunity for seniors as they prepare to become members of a broader community.

The staff sponsor of this event is Mr. Jeff Baker.
