Career Day is held in March. On that day members of the community, parents, alumni, etc. come to the school to talk to classes about their careers.
Specifically, we ask speakers to address:
- Educational background
- Skills required for the position
- Circumstances surrounding their entrance into the field
- Description of a “typical day”
- Challenges of the job
- The importance of ethics
- Prospects for advancement
Volunteers in all types of careers are encouraged to come to Seneca and talk to classes for any amount of timethey can spare (1 period, ½ day, whole day, whatever). No career is overlooked!
Information about how you can participate is provided via the Eagles Bulletin and website News. The staff sponsor of this event is Jeff Baker.
