Poms Try-Out Packet 2011-2012
Parent/athlete interest meeting is Tuesday, May 3, 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Tryouts clinic dates are May 23 - May 26 with tryouts May 27

Purpose of the Poms

The primary goal of the Eaglettes is to promote Seneca Valley High School and its athletic teams by increasing school spirit and awareness.  The Eaglettes also have the responsibility of providing entertainment at sporting events.  In addition, as with any athletic team, the Eaglettes' goal is to increase self-esteem within the team, promote consistent academic performance, and encourage leadership qualities and life-long social skills.

Who May Join

In order to become a member of the Eaglettes, you must maintain an academic minimum 2.0 GPA (2.3 GPA to perform), possess enthusiasm, have a desire to be a part of the team, enjoy performing for an audience, and be willing to work hard and to your full potential.

Although being a member of the Eaglettes is a rewarding and fun experience, it is also a tremendous time commitment (mid-August thru February) and can be expensive.  This organization requires the earnest efforts and sincere dedication of the athlete and also the parent or guardian.

Clinics and try-outs begin in May.
