flower Black-Eyed Susan Book Club

The Black-Eyed Susan Book Club consists of students who read at least three of the books nominated for Maryland's best book in the High School category.

To participate, you must read at least 3 of the 10 nominated books by mid-April. For each book you read, you must submit a brief book survey, which is intended to help you remember the books by the time we vote in the Spring.

In April, provided that you have read at least 3 of the nominated books, you will be invited to attend a voting reception during lunch in the Library Media Center. You will cast your vote for the best book electronically. Light refreshments will be served.

In May, the Library Media Center will host a pizza party during lunch to celebrate the winner of the award and to honor all the Black-Eyed Susan readers.
