About This Website

The Seneca Valley High School website was launched 2000-2001 by Chris Kerr, a parent volunteer working with webmaster Judith P. Scott in the Computer Science Department.

In Fall 2004 the need for reorganization to accommodate additional content was identified by members of the PTSA Technology Committee and a new homepage and navigation system were developed by Joyce Wootten, with the assistance of Brenda Martin and Larry Wootten, using Macromedia Studio MX 2004 software.  In October, 2004, with the help of the PTSA, the school acquired the domain name www.SenecaValleyHighSchool.com.

The site resides on the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) server and can also be accessed via the MCPS homepage. The site is best viewed with Internet Explorer.

The website is always a work in progress, as pages continue to be reviewed and updated on a weekly basis.  Pages on this site are maintained by Joyce Wootten, webmaster and content manager.
