Financial Obligations

Students are expected to return all textbooks, equipment, and uniforms and pay for all class fees and library fines before the end of each semester/sports season. The student must return these items to the teacher/coach who issued them as only that person can clear the student prior to issuing an obligation.

If items are not returned or paid for at the appropriate time, teachers and coaches issue obligations which are processed in the Finance Office. Once the obligation has been issued to the student, the outstanding items should be returned or payment made directly to the Finance Office where the obligation can be canceled.

It is extremely important that students follow the above procedures. Items returned to any other location will not be processed and the student will not be credited with the return or payment. At that point, it will be necessary for the student to find the book with the correct number in the department storage room or find the teacher to verify that the book was returned.

All outstanding obligations must be paid in order for students to participate in extracurricular activities such as Athletics, Clubs, Homecoming and Prom. Additionally, seniors with outstanding obligations will not be permitted to participate in senior activities including the graduation commencement ceremony.
