Each child receives one period of art instruction each week:
- offering students opportunities to develop artistically, working with a variety of two dimensional and three dimensional art media
- providing students with opportunities to communicate ideas in a nonverbal format
- providing opportunities for problem solving that require open ended solutions
- learning classroom concepts through arts integration that offers a visual, hands on, construction of knowledge approach to instruction
- allowing for additional art enrichment through various art clubs (including Intermediate Art Club, Student created movie Club, Garden Club , Primary Art Enrichment, and an upcoming Photography Club)
