STUDENTS OF THE MONTH – FEBRUARY ~ MARCH ~ APRIL
There is a spring in many students step and a smile on their face as they celebrate being recognized as a Student of the Month for February 09-March09-April 09. Each month, team teachers and designated department teachers select students who have displayed outstanding talent and citizenship. The students have their photographs taken by a professional photographer from Blanton Studios to be displayed in the main foyer showcase. The students are honored at a breakfast hosted by Ms. Pinkney-Murkey, Mr. Heintze, and Dr. Jones, the counselors, and the Student of the Month Committee. Students receive a certificate of recognition, a Student of the Month pencil, and a grade level gift. Grade 6 students receive a Student of the Month bumper sticker, grade 7 students receive a Student of the Month ribbon, and grade 8 students receive a Student of the Month lapel pin. Please join the staff in congratulating the following students for their talents and positive leadership; citizenship and overall improvement.
