On December 10, 1996 the Montgomery County Board of Education approved the awarding of credit to middle school students for high school level courses in foreign language taken in middle school. Credit is granted to middle school students who successfully complete foreign language high school level courses while in middle school. These middle school students must successfully complete the same FINAL EXAMINATIONS as high school students at the end of each course for which credit is granted.
