Cross Country: On Tuesday the RHMS Cross Country girls team was narrowly defeated by Baker MS 49-58. The girls team was lead by 7th grader Ke'Asia Ames and the boys were led by 7th grader Abbas Jivan.

Pink Out Day: Don't forget to wear your PINK!!!!! on Friday, October 27th to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Be in it to end it! Wear PINK!!!!!

Color Run: Register and run the PTA sponsored Color Fun Run on Saturday morning, November 4th and it will count as your fitness challenge for Quarter 1!!!! While others are running that following week, you will enjoy choice activities during class!!!! Get your registration form from the Main Office or Ms. Tip!

Picture Day: Picture Day-tomorrow! Hello, Wildcats! Lifetouch will be here tomorrow to take portraits for Ids, yearbook and family purchases. We encourage you to order on line! Information and flyers are also on the RHMS website. Staff who were absent in August should get their photo taken too!

Ms. Bailey Math Help: Attention math 7, math 8 and IM students: Ms Bailey is offering morning help on period 4 and 5 day mornings. Ms Bailey is offering lunch help on period 2 days Lunch A and B and period 3 days Lunch A and C. Get a lunch pass from Ms Bailey.

Check MCPS Gmail: Have you been reading your MCPS Gmail? We emailed a message to 3 rocky hill students last week. They did not come down to claim their prize. Will we have any winners this week? Read your Gmails - especially from the media center.

Portrait Day: Portrait Day is next Tuesday, October 17th. We will have all 7 periods that day and portraits will be taken during PE classes. All students should have received a portrait flyer in Homeroom on Monday. Extra copies are in the main office.

Cross Country (Girls): Congratulations to the girls Cross Country team on their victory over Hallie Wells 26-29 ( In cross country the low score wins). Ke'Asia Ames, Marvi Shroff, Noemi Bolanos, Zina Belbel and Maria Paul all had outstanding performances.

Cross Country (Boys): The boys Cross Country team lost to Hallie Wells 18-65 on Tuesday. The boys were paced by Zijie Lin (4rd place overall) and Abbas Jivan (6th place overall). Good luck to the boys today who face Baker MS.

Lady Wildcats: The Lady Wildcats are now 2-0 with a hard-fought victory against our newest arch-rival, Hallie Wells! The final score was 11-7. Morgan Lynn scored twice, slammed a double, and pitched 7 strong innings. Kayla Oh and Ellie Barlow also played tough Defense.

Three cheers for the Lady Wildcats. Hip Hip Hooray. Hip Hip Hooray. (everyone, now....!) Hip Hip Hooray! Come out today, after school, to support the Lady Wildcats, as they play Baker Middle School.

Boys Softball: After losing a Heartbreaker 17-16 to Clemente the boys softball team will play Hallie Wells on Tuesday 10/10 at home. Please make arrangements to stay and cheer them on! Go Wildcats!!!

Spring Break Trip: Tonight is the big information meeting about going to Italy and France! 7th and 8th are welcomed. This meeting is only for families that are not already signed up to go on the trip. Meeting starts at 6:30 in rm 366. See you there tonight!
