Archery Tryouts: Archery tryouts are December 15. If you are interested in trying out for the archery team, you will need to pick up an application from room 164. You must have them signed and turned in before tryouts begin. See Mr. Leck for more information.

FCA Huddle: On Thursday the 14th The FCA Huddle will be having its Holiday Party/Celebration! Please join us in room 180! Again the FCA Huddle will be having their Holiday Celebration on December 14th Hope to see you there!

MC Snowperson Contest: The Snowperson contest is still awaiting your entry. Come to the media center, ask for the pens and draw your very best snowperson right on the circulation desk. Ms G and Ms H will be awarding a prize for the best snowman on Dec. 20th.

PE Toy Drive: This week we are collecting toys for the sick children at Children's Hospital! Please bring in a new, unwrapped toy to your PE or Health teacher. We hope to collect 1000 toys this year for the children who are stuck in the hospital over the holidays and beyond!!!

SSL Opportunities: New SSL opportunities have been added to the SSL page of the Rocky Hill website. If you are looking for ways to volunteer in December, check it out!

PE Toy Drive: Don't forget to purchase a new toy for a sick child who is stuck in the hospital over the holidays. Bring a new, unwrapped, toy to your PE or Health classroom starting next Monday for the children at Children's Hospital. Help make a sick child smile!

MC Closure: The media center is closed on Friday, December 8th. Please do not send any students to the media center on Friday, December 8th.

Green Team & Science Club: The Green Team and The Science club are colleting all types of bottle caps for a project. Please save any and all bottle caps and turn them in to a designated container on each grade level floor and the cafeteria.

NJHS: The NJHS meeting for officers this Thursday, December 7 is cancelled. There will be no NJHS meeting this week.

Yearbook Club: Yearbook Club will be meeting this Thursday December 7 with Ms. Belman in room 376. The club is closed to new members.

Spirit Night: Do you like Chipotle or Sweet Frog? Ask your parents to take you out to Chipotle and Sweet Frog for dinner/dessert. TONIGHT's a Music Program fundraiser at these locations & they're donating proceeds to our program! Grab a flyer from lunch and show it when you order!

Congratulations-All-State Chorus: AN ENORMOUS CONGRATULATIONS to Ishika (ish-eeka) Naik (Nighk) and Mukundh (Mah-koon) Anandkrishnan (ah-nahn-krish-nahn) who qualified to represent Rocky Hill as members of the Maryland Junior All-State Chorus. This distinguised group comprises the top 120 7th, 8th and 9th grade singers across the state of Maryland!

Congratulations-Honor Chorus: CONGRATULATIONS to Mukundh (Mah-koon) Anandkrishnan (ah-nahn-krish-nahn), Evelyn Jiang, Asanti (Ah-sahn-tee) Lubika (loo-bee-ka), Jeanne (czh-ahn) (French soft j) Lubika (loo-bee-ka), Ishika (ish-eeka) Naik (Nighk), Nikhil (ni-keel) Naik (Nighk), Tali (tall-ee) Schlenoff (shlen-off), Juli Teixeira (teh-share-ah) & Sakshi Yaragudipati (Yar-rah-goo-di-pah-dee) who qualified to represent Rocky Hill in the Montgomery County Middle School Honors Chorus. They were selected among only 120 singers out of over 300 that auditioned!

Spirit Night: Do you like Chipotle? Do you like Sweet Frog? Ask your parents to take you out to Chipotle and Sweet Frog for dinner and dessert tomorrow night. Tuesday, Dec. 5 is a Music Program fundraiser at these locations and they will donate a portion of their proceeds to our program!

Honk, Jr: And now we have some characters from our drama program here to tell us about their upcoming production of Honk Jr, which will run this coming Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:00 here at Rocky Hill.

MC Snowman Contest: Snow? Yes I said snow! The media center is holding a 'Snowman Contest". Come in and draw your best snowman on the circulation desk. The contest will end on December 20th and a prize will be awarded for the winning snowman

Lego Robotics: It's not too late to join the fun of the Lego Robotics club. The club which meets Wednesdays after school. You will work on various challenges by programming the Lego EV3 robot to complete missions. See Mr. Smith in Room 143 to pick up a registration form.
