March Madness CHAMPIONSHIP VOTE HERE! by MARCH 21st
Mrs. Gramatges and Mrs., Heidary in the Media Center are in need of parent volunteers for the entire school year in the mornings from 7:45 to 8:10 AM to help out with checking out books, handing out passes, checking contest answers and just being an adult presence in the Media Center. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! If interested please contact Marion_T_Heidary@mcpsmd.org or Laurie_A_Abita-Gramatges@mcpsmd.org.
Teach staff and students thinking skills needed as life-long learners to independently seek and use information effectively and properly.
Nurture a love of reading through a variety of literary experiences throughout the school year.
Students may check out up to three items at a time. If a student has an overdue book he/she must return it before checking out additional items. Students may keep books for up to two weeks. Students may renew books for an additional two week period.
We are open Monday-Friday from 7:50-8:10 AM.
Any student visiting the media center after 7:50 must have a pass from their first block teacher.
Students may come to the media center with a pass from a teacher.
On most days students may eat lunch in the media center. They get a pass in the lunchroom and come to the media center for the lunch period. Some days passes are not available to students because of media center or school activities.
The media center will not be open after school during the 2017-2018 school year. Please feel free to visit us before school (see above).
