**Pre- International Baccalaureate (IB) Course Description

This program is a comprehensive and rigorous pre-university curriculum leading to an IB diploma. Successful IB candidates are typically granted advanced placement credit at universities and colleges.

 


 *Advanced Placement (AP) Course Description

Ø      Reading levels are accelerated and amount of reading is greater

Ø      Weekly supplemental texts are added

Ø      AP style tests are administered

Ø      College Board curriculum is followed

Ø      Conceptual Understanding of material is necessary

Ø      Writing with a clear thesis that is well organized is a must

Ø      Focus on document based questioning and assessment.
