Best Buddies is a club that provides an opportunity for one-to-one friendships between students with disabilities and their nondisabled peers.
Our club meets on Tuesday and Wednesday for "lunch Bunch" one general ed peer buddy is matched to one of our students in LFI and Autism to strike up a new friendship. They usually do a leisure activity together like puzzles, drawling, computer time, look at magazines, or just get up and start dancing to the typical teenage noise ( i mean music:) and start dancing and singing along. It is a good time had by all and is one of the most popular club at RHS. We have many events through out the year such as; winter party's, football games, and the Spring Gala is always a big hit too. We do fund-raisers at the local restaurants and have many service projects in the local area too.
