Afternoon Ride On, Metrobus Trips Free to Students 18 and Younger
Students 18 and younger are allowed to ride any Ride On bus or Metrobus in Montgomery County free of charge year-round from 2-7 p.m., Monday - Friday. (A charge of $2.15 is required for select express routes.) Students must show the bus driver a valid school ID or a student pass issued by Ride On. The "Kids Ride Free" program went into effect on July 1.
