To help us, and you, to prepare for the A.P. U.S. History test this May, our class has prepared several online web pages about various topics relating to the period 1875-1925.  The topic of this page is Big Business and Industrialization.  This topic has been an important factor throughout the history of the United States, but especially in this time period.  The period we are looking at includes the end of reconstruction, the Industrial Revolution, World War I and many other important events. 
        Big business itself is a term used to describe industrial companies with influence and power.  They usually have a few people controlling the business with many workers underneath them.  In this Web Page, we have written a sample Document Based Question (DBQ), as well as explanations of the documents and how they can be used.  We have also provided a section about Key People and Terms and links to other related areas.  Another part of the site is a section with discussion questions and short answers to the questions.  In addition to all of this, you can learn a little more about who we are and can write to us or our teacher with comments or questions.  We hope the information on our web page will be informative and helpful.  Enjoy!
