The IB History Internal Assessment is a 1500-2000 word research project through which students analyze historical events by evaluating differing historical interpretations. As implied by its title, it is an historical investigation; students are expected to formulate and address thoughtful research questions. It counts as 20% of the IB History Higher Level Exam score, and is scored out of 20 marks (points).
