QO Student Government Association

Our Mission Statement

The Student Government was set up to do the following:

  • To further the educational well-being of the students.
  • To provide a forum for student opinion. 
  • To help coordinate student activities.
  • To keep records of active student organizations and clubs.
  • To promote the general welfare of the school.
  • To act as a representative of the student body in exchange with the faculty, administration, county school system, community, and outside organizations.
  • To provide an opportunity for students to affect changes within the educational system.
  • To act as a neutral third party in student/teacher conflicts as a second step in the "Resolving Problems" section of the student handbook.
  • To ensure that the Constitution and the standing constitutions for each graduating class are ethically and morally upheld.

To contact any SGA officer, come to our office during lunch or afterschool as someone is always in there. The office is located on the second floor in the hallway in between the gym and the cafeteria (the old attendance office).
