Bus Routes

At Potomac Elementary School, each school bus route is assigned a color code name.  Most students and PES staff members refer to the school buses by their color names, (the Red bus, the Purple bus, etc.), rather than by the route numbers.  However, when calling the school or the MCPS Department of Transportation with a question or concern about your child's bus, it is helpful to provide the bus (route) number, as well as the PES bus color code.
