Montgomery County Public Schools has purchased practice SAT tests through the College Board. The tests are open to all MCPS students and parents. Please take advantage of this great opportunity!

Please follow these simple steps to register for the SAT Online Course

1. Visit Mrs. Adams in the Career Center, next to the Cafeteria. She will give you an official SAT Online Course card that will have a student access code on it. This is an individual code that can only be used by one student. Every student planning to use the SAT Online Prep Course must get their card from Mrs. Adams, or their SAT Prep Course Instructor if they are taking the class offered at PHS.
2. Go to the site http://collegeboard.com/satonlinecourseschool
3. In the "Students" box, click "Register Now" (small box with arrow)
4. Enter the code from the card you recieved from Mrs. Adams.
5. You will then be asked for your collegeboard.com account information. If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to set up an account in order to access the SAT Online Prep Course.

It is recommended that all students who plan to take the SAT do one or more of the following:

1. Participate in the PSAT (Practice SAT) at PHS in the fall of their 9th, 10th and 11th grades
2. Practice with the SAT Online Prep Course
3. Take the SAT Prep Course offered by PHS (1 semester class)
4. Take an SAT Prep Course from either Montgomery College, or other outside private firm
